Mayan prophecies – Are the prophecies true?
The prophecy, can it really be true? That the Mayans had it right and that we will soon see the end of our existence on this planet, and how will it happen?
There are many ways armageddon could happen if it were to hit us in 2012. But only a a few scenarios that are popular, like nuclear war, poleshifts, asterioids and alien invasions.
Lets exclude both nuclear wars and poleshifts as these are not from Mayan culture, this leaves us only with asteriods and alien invasion, now we suspect that the Mayans had contact with aliens during their greatest era and we know that they said that their gods came from the skies. So maybe their gods said to them that the calender would end in the year 2012, and that they would come to visit us. Maybe that were one of the mayan prophecies for the future.
Back to asteriods and collisions, we know that lately their have been some suspisious activity near the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. And that the scientists says that there is something with the mass of one million suns colliding with our own galaxy, but they can’t figure out what causes it. They say that with it’s mass alone it qualifies for an entire new galaxy, they just see it’s effect on stars as it’s pulling them towards it. Maybe the entire galaxy is going to implode on it self, or maybe not.
Everything can be turned into doomsday scenarios it seems, just because an calender ends does not mean that the world will end to. Even though they had their prophecies for the year 2012, one thing is certain , the Mayans had to end their calender some day.
